Hi,

This is actually working as intended; we already support complete prefix 493 as a valid mobile number. To check the latest behavior for
yourself (we update metadata frequently), see the demo:

I would like to report an issue regarding the classification of phone numbers starting with 0493 or +61 493 in Australia. Although I currently use this number for SMS, calls, and data, Google categorises that number as invalid. This problem prevents me from activating 2-step verification on my Google account. As a non-programmer, I kindly request the community's support in resolving this issue to recognise the number starting with 0493 / +61 493 as a valid number in Australia. Thank you for your help.

Hey

I'm still experiencing the same issue where phone numbers starting with 0493[5-9]XXXXX or +61 493 [5-9]XXXXX in Australia are being categorized as invalid.

I've confirmed that my package is updated to the latest version (3.2.33).

When I checked the demo link you previously shared, the numbers appeared to be valid. However, when I use the library, I'm still getting an invalid result.

I'm hoping you can help me recognize the number format +61 493[5-9] as valid in Australia.

Any guidance or support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Version 8.13.21 is the latest jar, see https://github.com/google/libphonenumber/releases

Could you please tell us 3.2.33 belongs to which port?

We maintain only Java, C++, Javascript, Python and Android. Rest of the ports are maintained by developers outside the libphonenumber project. We do not evaluate their quality or influence their maintenance processes, see https://github.com/google/libphonenumber/blob/master/README.md#third-party-ports.

If the number is validated in the demo link that means that we already support the range in our library.
