I am following the steps from
https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-nfc-rfid-on-raspberry-pi/building-libnfc

Same for me:

pi@raspberrypi ~/libnfc-ec933731b775 $ ./configure.ac
--with-drivers=pn532_uart --sysconfdir=/etc --prefix=/usr
./configure.ac: line 4: syntax error near unexpected token
`[libnfc],[1.7.0],[nfc-...@googlegroups.com]'
./configure.ac: line 4:
`AC_INIT([libnfc],[1.7.0],[nfc-...@googlegroups.com])'

@corentinavril, you need to run ./configure not ./configure.ac

I tried ./configure first, but it doesn't exist:

pi@raspberrypi ~/libnfc-ec933731b775 $ ./configure
--with-drivers=pn532_uart --sysconfdir=/etc --prefix=/usr
-bash: ./configure: No such file or directory

@corentinavril configure is in the released versions:
https://bintray.com/nfc-tools/sources/libnfc
If you're working from the git repo, then follow the devel instructions
https://code.google.com/p/libnfc/
=>
autoreconf -vis

@yazidin:

If you follow the instructions of ardafruit, the sources are not correct.
Use the official libnc1.7.1 sources:
