What is your favorite programming font(s)?

I used to think that a good text editor was the primary thing in the
working environment for a programmer since programming involved
staring at code for a long time but now I am starting to realize that
a good font might make a difference in productivity apart from being
easy on the eyes for instance to be able to easily figure out the
difference between 1 and l.

I use monotype fonts sans generally.. and lime on black background.. that works really well most of the time for me. Oh yeah, reading ebooks in that color is also awesome... kind of hard to get used to though.

i managed an easier way to do this..

1. run gnome-terminal
1a. assuming default-- it will be anti aliased already
1b. else set it to a monotype font there...
2. type emacs -nw
3. voila... you have anti aliased emacs in 30 secs...
:)

I like vim... I certainly use it more than emacs but you can do so much
more with emacs..
