I think OpenCV 3.0 will probably have the idea of micro-module (external modules), and they will be interested again in including libmv as an external module (I don't actually know about this, it was just a comment from Vincent few months ago).

In the GSoC we mainly were rewriting some functions using Mat/Mat_/Matx from OpenCV instead of Eigen. But Eigen could be an micro-module as well :P

Anyway, the main problem was that I didn't some much time to continue, but I really would like help. It would be great to see progress in libmv and, particularly for me, to see it inside OpenCV (a small part at least, like a level 0 let's say... and growing from there).

I think it would be possible to merge both repositories, because we were working in a separated folders libmv_opencv/, although there are some differences anyway (one I can remember is that we are using cv::Mat instead of the Image class).

But i think it'll be interesting to discuss ways of joining forces implementing some new features which are easy-to-use in both Libmv and OpenCV.
