Library for microcontroller

Hi,I want to write a library that works on microcontrollers also.But I can get where some of the functions are defined.The functions declared in the backed class are defined where?Could someone pls tell me.I had written before also but I didnt get any respone.

Its for a work I got.Otherwise I would have write from scratch.Please help!

Do you mean that you want to write a library that uses libmodbus?
Or do you want to modify libmodbus to compile it for a microcontroller?
On what microcontrollers using what operating system?

Do you mean "I can't get..."?

Please add the functions' names (or at least some examples).
If you get an error message copy&paste the exact error message.

I don't understand what you mean with "the backed class". libmodbus is
implemented in C, it does not use classes.

I want to modify libmodbus to work on esp32 on freertos.I cant find function definition of MODBUS_API int modbus_set_slave(), and function initialised in backend class, etc
