An update and invite for those in DC --

DCPL are planning to keep the space for our joint Lib Lab project open
through the end of this year.
Now we have to come up with brilliant projects and events to make use of it!

There will be a meeting of a dozen staff who will be involved with our
joint project with them, on Wednesday at 3pm, at the library (MLK
branch). For those interested in volunteering, or helping with
programming and organization over the coming months, this will be a
great opportunity to meet the library staff who you'll be seeing more
of -- and to visit the space before we start to redecorate it.

Please let me / Katie / James know if you'd like to come. If you know
others who might want to get involved, now is a good time to engage
them. I'll be in DC through the evening -- perhaps we can have a
related smaller-group design meeting after, in the late afternoon.

Hotly,
Sam.

Subject: DCPL's LIB LAB....

We are have a meeting of our inside folks (about a dozen) who will
play a role in this project scheduled for next week Wednesday at 3 at
the MLK Library in downtown Washington.  You and anyone else who can
come are most welcome.
We will do a 4 – 5 month POP UP TECH LAB.  The possibility of having
this last longer definitely exists

It is VERY important to get others here who can move this forward…
And we are so close to doing exactly that!
