I'm thrilled to be invited to participate in the design review panel.
Thanks, Nate!

I work at Brooklyn Public Library (which is where I met Nate) as the
Coordinator of Information Services & Public Training. I'm currently
involved in designing the public service plan for the Leon Levy
Information Commons (info here:
at our Central Library, which will be a space for training, research,
individual and collaborative work, meetings, and more. We're also very
interested in using it as a hackspace and as a venue for skillshares.
So the chance to participate in an exciting and kindred project is a
great opportunity.

I'm going to try to get caught up with the LibLabs project so far, and
look forward to collaborating with everyone involved in it.

I heard about your group from HackDC last week. I'm a retired
management consultant, but found I didn't like retirement too much, so
I work part time at Green Acres School (Rockville, MD) as a technology
specialist and I'm working on my library degree. This term I have to
write a mock grant proposal for a library and I'm thinking about
writing it on hackerspaces in libraries. I love all the work you
guys are doing and am hoping you will be meeting with HackDC soon the
collaboration around this idea could be exciting.
