libkml: is this C++ kml library the uptodate library for consumption of kml and does it cover all the kml features?

I am just getting started with being able to write an application that reads kml for rendering purposes. 

Is this C++ kml library the uptodate library for consumption of kml and does it cover all the kml features? Should I be looking for something else/ building my own ?
