libkml release

hey

is there any way a release of libkml can be made so that distros would have the required version of libkml for GDAL's OGR libkml driver?


there is a couple of methods you guys added for the OGR libkml driver that are not in the latest release

I fixed up a bunch of bit-rot on Linux and OS X late last year, but the windows support isn't anywhere close to release-worthy and I don't currently have the time or resources to remedy that. You can see the current state of things ingithub.com/google/libkml. (The code.google.com/libkml repro will be deprecated soon.) Pull requests are welcome, however you'll need to sign one of the contributor license agreements to keep the assignments clear:
