Subject: [SMP10-11] Open Lab Visits on 23rd, 24th October
To: mentor...@googlegroups.com

Hello,

Institute Academic Council presents "Opens Lab Visits", under the ENTHUSE, "Pre-Internship Learning Opportunities and Open CHallenges" initiative.

Over the coming weekend, a few labs from each department would be open for visits to all the interested students in the institute. The lab incharges would showcase their projects and the research being conducted in their labs, to the visiting students.

The event is scheduled on 23rd - 24th October, i.e. the coming weekend.
Lab slots will be available from 9: 30 am to 4: 30 pm, on both the days.

For registration and other information regarding the labs, visit:
http://gymkhana.iitb.ac.in/~academics/researchprojects/index.php/Main_Page
There are limited seats for each lab in a given slot

For all freshmen, registrations has also been opened up at coffee shack, (considering the fact that they do not have an easy net access)

Thursday: 12: 30 - 1: 30 pm
Friday: 12: 30 - 2: 00 pm

We would request you to speak to your mentees and encourage them to participate in the event. The entire concept of the event was framed keeping in mind the opportunities that can be made available to fresh hands, in the lab research taking place at IIT Bombay. This is an excellent opportunity for them to get summer projects/ in-sem projects at IIT Bombay, which is otherwise a difficult task. The faculty members have been very co-operative in this event and would appreciate anyone interested in working with them.

The whole effort is being coordinated by Saakshi (ISAA). You can contact her @ 9769303154 or sakshi...@gmail.com
Hoping to see maximum participation from first year students and your cooperation in big numbers.
Thanks.

Regards,
Manas Rachh
