I organise a series of talks about libraries, games and education in the Saurfang (Oceania) realm of World of Warcraft. I hope you can
participate in the next talk.

4 April  9.00am (Australian Eastern Standard Time) Mark Chen, author of  Leet Noobs : the life and death of an expert player group in World of Warcraft (http://trove.nla.gov.au/work/159340569) will be talking about his research.  The talks take place at 3.00pm if you are in the same time zone as California.

He describes himself  "I am a Post-doctoral Scholar at the University of Washington in the Advancing Gaming in Innovative Learning Ecologies (AGILE) group with the LIFE Center and Institute for Science and Math Education. I focus on ethnographies of gamers and gaming culture and how this helps us think about games and learning."

The talks are held in the Ironforge ( http://www.wowwiki.com/Ironforge) Library, Saurfang realm of World of Warcraft. The talks last for about 40 minutes, with time for questions and discussion at the end.

For more information about the talks see http://gamesandlibraries.wetpaint.com/page/Events

Please contact me with any questions you have about this.

Yours sincerely
Ellen Forsyth
