I recently purchased DDR Supernova for the PS2 for the Library Game
Lab based upon reviews. Now, I learn that there's no easy way to
unlock all the songs. Boo.

Anyone out there with fleet-footed kids have an save file with
unlocked music for this game? If so, please write me and we can talk
about how I could get a copy from you..

Thanks!
Scott

Scott,

There are ways to download save files from the internet and put them on a PS2 memory card using various cheat devices.  I have not personally tried this, but it's worth a shot if you're interested.

I actually started with this, buying an Action Replay, but couldn't
get it to work correctly. It's not well-documented, and all the codes
I could find didn't help. So, I started looking into the equipment,
as there are save files at gamefaq.com and elsewhere, but as I started
to explore, I learned that the Pelican Codebreaker, which was the one
of those tools I could still find, doesn't work with the new slim
PS2s. So, rather than throw money toward guessing, I'll go with what
works. I've had a few volunteers already that will copy a card if I
send one to them, and I'm realizing that this will be a good service
to offer out of the library game lab down the road.
