Flyers and Posters

What kinds of Posters or Flyers do you use to promote your events?
I'm just about to start making some for our tournaments, but I'd love
to see what everyone else uses for some ideas.

I'm not going to be overly concerned with image rights (i know
horrible to say as a librarian) since these will only be used in house
at my branch.

We just used some cheesy, videogame-oriented clipart with some generic scheduling info & parental waiver requirement. I attached a copy of our policy rundown for you to look at, and also a link to our Teens & Tweens Page.

Nintendo tends to be really forgiving about library use of images (when
they gave us a Wii a couple years ago they told us we were welcome to
use any of their images to promote library gaming events). Therefore, I
just use any Mario game image I find online...

Other than that, I have no real advice, as I just put together whatever
looks good in Publisher - I tend to make tiled-together posters that
fill a sheet of poster-board, and hang them in the windows of my teen
area.
