Dear Libflame Group:

I am having trouble installing Libflame so that it works in Octave 4.21. I have Windows 7  and cloned the package libflame

as follows:

C:\Octave\Octave-4.2.1\share\octave\packages>git clone https://github.com/flame/libflame.git

Cloning into 'libflame'...

remote: Counting objects: 16557, done.

Receiving objects: 100% (16557/165remote: Total 16557 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta

Receiving objects: 100% (16557/16557), 14.02 MiB | 780.00 KiB/s, done.

Resolving deltas: 100% (10931/10931), done.

Checking out files: 100% (10034/10034), done.

I am not sure how Octave compiles packages not downloaded from Octave-Forge and I haven’t been able to find anything by Googling.

If you can offer any guidance, it would be deeply appreciated.

Best,

Frank Dooley

Frank,

Thanks for your interest in libflame.

Unfortunately, we no longer actively support building libflame under
Windows. (On top of that, I personally have no experience with any sort
of integration with Octave.) We apologize for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
Field
