Hello everyone -

Just wanted to pass along a prayer request.  I found out today that our company will be doing another layoff tomorrow.  I will be responsible for notifying my 11 representatives and letting them know whether or not they keep their position.  I will also be notified some time after 11 AM tomorrow about my position.

We have our own desires about the outcome of this, but we also know that God's plan is perfect.  So, that is my prayer - that God will remove my selfish desires and replace them with His desires for our life.  I also pray for my employees and their families as this brings a great deal of stress on everyone involved.  My brother recently accepted a position with my company as well and relocated himself from Seattle, WA to Knoxville, TN for the position.  His future employment will also be determined tomorrow.

Thanks so much for the prayers!

Kelly

Kelly,

It will work out the way it meant to be, but we are all human beings and sometime it is hard to foresee the meaning behind. We will definitely pray for you, your family, your brother and all of your reps.

All I can say is I will be praying for the peace of Jesus to be upon you, Pete, and your employees. I will also pray that the Lord gives you the strength, courage, poise, and love if and when you have to deliver the bad news to your reps. Always, always remember that the Lord is faithful and just. And He alone allows all things to work for the good of those He loves and has called according to His purpose.
If there is anything I can do for your family please do not hesitate to call me

Connor

Just a quick update on today - so much to be thankful for.

None of my representatives were let go.  My brother was not let go.  Linda and Roger's son-in-law also works for the same company, and he was not let go.  I kept my job as well.  Thanks for all your prayer and support.

Love,
Kelly
