Phoenix Giving Day is Saturday, December 9, 2017Attached is our flyer for our 17th annual PSI Phoenix Giving Day 2017. It will give you the history of Giving Day in Phoenix and what is needed to make this event happen. There are 3 things needed to make Giving Day a huge success: 1) Monetary Donations 2) Teddy Bear Donations 3 ) Volunteers.Our goal this year is to raise between $30,000 - $50,000, collect 600 teddy bears and have 100-150 volunteers.Would Team 47 take on the challenge to raise $4700 for Giving Day?To make a monetary donation, you can do one of the following:1. Make an online donation at our PSI World site at: https://psi.world/projects/giving-day-phoenix2. Make a donation over the phone: Helen Hain at the PSI Phoenix office 480-663-84003. Make a donation over the phone: Carol Polcyn at 480-703-3265 or Julie Jones at 480-570-7382Would Team 47 take on the challenge to provide 47 Teddy Bears for Giving Day?To make a Teddy Bear Donation, you can drop Teddy Bears off at the PSI office: 1495 N Hayden Rd # 9, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 or let me know what part of the valley you are in and I will help coordinate a pick up / drop off spot or contact Rosie Traecy at 928-963-6133 or rosemar...@gmail.comHow many people from Team 47 would be willing to volunteer on Giving Day?To volunteer on Giving Day, we are in need of volunteers to provide an arts and crafts project, games or activity for the kids or we need volunteers in specific areas. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, been working 11 hour days this week.
I will pledge $500 and 7 Bears and challenge the rest of Team 47 to match my pledges. How do I get them to you (I am in the far East Valley).
I had already scheduled a seminar out of town that weekend, so I won’t be able to attend.
Hope this finds you well. This is a great event and I am sorry I will be missing it this year.
