Hi Everyone,

We apologize if you receive this message twice, but we are having an issue with Comcast.net email addresses blocking our newsletters.

Thank You Cash for Kids Donors!

Thank you so much to all of you who have already donated to Liberty High PTSA’s Cash for Kids Campaign. Together, we have raised over $13,300. Our goal is to raise $20,000 through our campaign, including employee matching and United Way donations to provide more opportunities to students here at Liberty! Read more and review list of donors HERE

Corporate Matching and Volunteer Hours

Don't forget to request your corporate matching donations!  Several businesses (i.e. Boeing and Microsoft to name a couple) will match or triple donations made to charitable organizations, like Liberty PTSA.  If you have donated to our Cash for Kids fundraiser and work for a company that matches charitable contributions, please contact your Human Resources or Corporate Matching department to coordinate a matching donation.  Many matching contributions are time sensitive.  Therefore, it would be beneficial to Liberty if you request a matching donation soon after you donate.  Also, if you volunteer for the Liberty PTSA, some companies will donate money for your volunteer hours.

Class of 2014 Interviews!

Volunteers are needed for senior interviews! 10/30 and 11/6 (both are Wednesdays) before school from 7:15 - 9:45 am. The process of interviewing is a life-long process for all of us, and therefore the reason it is included as a needed skill and requirement for their Culminating Project and graduation.  Contact the Career Center (nyst...@issaquah.wednet.edu) with which dates you can help!

Issaquah Schools Foundation “All In for Kids” Fall Campaign

Our “Click for Kids” honk and wave days will be 10/11 for elementary schools and 10/25 for middle schools. This may be a good reminder for you to donate if you haven’t already done so.

ISF is hosting 4 Meet & Greets for new parents to our district. These events are targeted at 8 pilot schools but everyone is welcome.  Click HERE to see the invitation.

Another event to learn more information about ISF is the annual Salmon Days Festival held in Issaquah this weekend. The Foundation will host a booth, located near the Field of Fun. If you’re there, please stop by to say hello. Volunteers are still needed to help at the booth–a great job for a teen looking for volunteer hours. Contact Lida Buckner, li...@mac.com, for more information.

 "Believe, Dream, Inspire”

Parents, please encourage your Liberty students to participate in this year’s Reflections art competition with the theme “Believe, Dream, Inspire.” Entries are accepted in several categories including: Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts, Film/Video and Choreography/Dance and must be received by November 10th. This is a wonderful opportunity to show off your creativity and represent Liberty High School at the district, state and national levels! For more information, please go to http://www.wastatepta.org/programs/reflections/index.html
