1. You agree to post on a subject involving the suppression of
freedom, human rights or civil liberties at least once every two
weeks. This is a very broad definition and leaves it to the blogger
to decide the subject. It can be denial or attempted denial of any
freedom, such as free speech, genocide, religious freedom, terrorist
attacks, government action that in the opinion of the blogger
suppresses or denies freedoms, acts committed by non-government
organizations that threaten freedoms, etc. As we said, it is a very
broad definition.

2. You agree to link to at least 3 posts written by 3 different
members of the Alliance every two weeks. You can of course link to
more if you choose. The reason for this requirement is that we hope
by having a number of bloggers post on these issues and link to other
posts that more people will be exposed to what is going on in the
world.

3. You include a Blog Roll of Alliance members titled "The Liberty
Alliance."

4. That you are accurate and link to the source that you obtained your
information from for your post.

The political ideology of the bloggers who belong to the Alliance is
not important, in fact the more diversity in political opinion among
the members the better. We believe that honest debate is a good
thing. The same goes for religion and nationality. In fact we
believe that the Alliance will be much more effective if there are
bloggers from different countries, speaking different languages, with
different religious beliefs. The only thing that we ask is if a
disagreement occurs between members that the debate be civil and does
not include personal attacks.

Finally we hope that by the Alliance will result in friendships among
bloggers from around the world who have expertise and information that
they are willing to share with other members.

If you would like to join the Liberty Alliance, or know other blogger
that would be interested, then just reply to Mike and I'll add you to
the members list. By default I have been selected to act as the
administrator of the Alliance. Any help or ideas will be greatly
appreciated. LV and I are currently working on a logo.

As I told Kamangir yesterday: this google group is not for the people
in general to read -though they can-. This is
for us to maintain all the group interconnected.
You post here what you want others to post in their blogs.
If you have any doubts just write them here, so all the rest know the
question and the answer.
Thanks. :D

I'm sorry I jumped the gun, but I'm so excited about this new group.
I've already found some new and interesting blogs and I'm ready to
make new friends. When is the official launch?

On another note, Kate and I are meeting up the weekend of the 15th to
troll the anti-war protest here in DC for photos. And photos of the
anti-anti-war groups, too. I'll try to get preliminary photos and
narrative up late Saturday afternoon. Ya'all are welcome to use the
photos.

Hey, John:
As I wrote in my blog, Mike has had problems with his PC and later 6
of his relatives have been killed in a car accident. So, the official
launch is going to be delayed a week.
And there is also something that I have to tell you all: as not all
the news have the same importance we must determine some kind of order
not to a) treat every blog the same piece of news, while others are
just disregarded b) the same blogs treat most important news and the
rest never achieve to post about those. We have to speak about that,
but you must understand that he is not in a disposition as to speak
about the group now.
Luck with the trolling :D
