This is what Mark Levine has been talking about--a constitutional convention by the states to get back to the laws of the Constitution.

One message to forward! 
Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention. 

This will take less than thirty seconds to read. If you agree, please pass it on. This is an idea that we should address. 

For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Their latest stunt is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform that they passed ... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite ruling class that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop. 

If each person that receives this will forward it on to 15 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around. 

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators, Representatives of Congress; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ...."

DEMOCRACY KICKSTART 2014

 

Should I start a kickstart or like to get the below application created and distributed?

 

Democracy Application: Creation of the Democracy Application for your cell phone/tablet/etc, so you can follow the bills and motions on the floor of congress and vote on them as they come up, yes/no/abstain/your nuts/hell no/hell yes? Only costs .99$

 

The concept is to give you the smart phone/tablet user (need more people with them to keep things democratic),
can watch the congress in action, see what bills/business is on the floor, and then vote on it, and then see
how your vote compares to the rest of the people from your state, and compare it to how your representatives and
senators voted and see if they are truely representing you and us the people or their own self interests.

Nice part of it is, it means lower cell phone prices since people will need to be equal access and all? also when things go bad, we don't have the congress and all to blame but We our selves since we have the app and can vote and voice and ...
Real democracy and accountability?

 

Then again, we would have to work on real education and all, or would we all want a bunch of uneducated people running things?

I know its just a concept, but I think with a little work it could be made to come about and change how people are in our modern world and our Republic.

 

We the people can become WE THE PEOPLE and not just a bunch of whining malcontents who sit and whine all day but do damn little.

 

A combination of higher speed internet, wifi speeds, ability and ways/means of security to make sure the person "Voting" is really the registered voter.

 

Yes it started out as humor, to show how people are, or can be. I spend a bit of time in bars and people are always talking about things, and how bad it all is, but then when elections come, they do damn little about things and even worse never get off their barstool or like.

 

The largest corporation in the US is WE THE PEOPLE, namely us and our government, and we as share holders, need to let our CEO (President), Board of Directors (Congress) and like know what we feel, need, want and also in a way they know we mean business, but also are informed, knowledgible and not just a bunch of nut cases.

 

We deserve the government we elect, appoint or just let come into power, good or bad, we let it all happen.

 

"All powers not vested especially in this document are reserved for the people and or state"? yes or close.. If we don't vote or voice an opinion, things happen that becomes law cause no one said NO!

 

This November a good percentage of the House is up for GRABS, and the Senate is some 1/3rd up for grabs, so how to make sure its someone that WE or YOU want? Me, I do care but ... I rather it be US and WE saying YES, than we saying what ever and letting things happen, worse if we then whine about , sorry all. Say something or SHUT THE... UP!

 

"Don't vote, DON'T Bitch".Don't vote, then shut up!  But you best learn how to talk and provide a damn good reason

and arguement for why you voted how you do and why, and then learn to live with your decision!
