LiberTEM 0.4.0 released

Dear subscribers,

LiberTEM 0.4.0 is released with a number of significant changes:

Restructuring
-------------

We are currently restructuring the code base into several sub-packages
in order to keep the individual parts manageable and facilitate
collaboration and code re-use. With this release we are splitting off
the Blobfinder module as LiberTEM-blobfinder. It can be installed and
used independent of LiberTEM and is located at
<https://github.com/LiberTEM/LiberTEM-blobfinder>. Imports from the
previous location are supported until 0.6.0, but trigger a FutureWarning.

More modules will follow in the next releases.

Job API deprecation
-------------------

The legacy Job API from the first release LiberTEM is deprecated now and
superseded by the newer UDF API. Replacements for the previous
functionality are implemented and the old API is supported until release
0.6.0, as well with warnings. More details, including a migration guide:

Google Summer of Code 2020
--------------------------

We are participating in the Google Summer of Code again. More details:

Current and upcoming activities
-------------------------------

We are continuing with development towards live acquisition and
processing. Furthermore, we will start working on an API for improved
integration in desktop applications next week. Work on live ptychography
is ongoing as well.
