Milosh! Brilliant!

I'm happy to see the list is still working; there must be some server still running at Keith's old place in ELWA, or in John's room at OWISA...

We are in SF having taught all summer and are about to head to New Zealand with the new Global Impact Visas...and live right on Shipwrecks in the Far North, where it's warmest.

In Rockaway, go to Boaders Surf Shop and say hi to Steve for us. Also we'd love to intro you to Lois and Scott, who are redoing their house (post-Sandy) and awesome artists, travelers and surfer people...

Hope you catch some good ones and that our paths cross soon!

Epic. Not much surf on my end these days sadly, although I was paddling some waves on Lake Michigan last week!

How long are you in the greater NYC area Myles? Amy and I and our three little nuggets are a short 70 miles west of the George Washington bridge on 80. I can't say much for the break on the Delaware River, but it makes for some righteous stand up paddling and fishing!

I turned off the server at OSIWA years ago. It must be in the cloud now.

The waves in Denver are non-existent, but powder was great last season. Though with 3 little ones, I don't get much time to partake in water sports of any form.

Is anyone on here who still lives in Liberia? How's Ship Wrecks, Poopy Point?

Still here. The surfing has been shit due to rainy season but March, April and a bit of may were excellent. The beach in RP has totally changed. The waterfront is now at the base of the cotton tree. It was threatening to take it down in June. The entire Nanna's restaurant is no longer on land and was swept away by the sea. Kwepuna is slowly closing it's doors and selling off assets. There is a second campground now that is being run by the younger crew from the surfers association. They've build a new clubhouse that is really cool. We have been surfing bubbles a lot this year with some very good days out there. It seems to hold up well in big swell. I had a tour of the big executive mansion that is under renovation and it looks like a really nice rocky/reef break out in front of it. We'll paddle out to it in Oct/Nov when the good swell comes back. There has been some good talk coming out of Harper but I still haven't had a chance to get there for myself. Otherwise as usual over here.

Harper huh? On the North side of the river? I went there once with a board and found nothing on the south side. I'd love to see some pics too.

What's up team??? Great to hear how you folks are doing...  I miss living on the beach!  Spent that summer (2009) waking up early and rolling out of bed in time to watch the morning poops getting washed out to sea...

Here in NY the A train is a solid 1 hour to 1 hour and a half depending on if you just miss it - which may be the most frustrating thing in the world... And sadly it's all lefts in NY... ALL LEFTS!  Anyway, we don't have it too bad here.  Hurricane Gert is sending us some love tomorrow which is exciting and the recent addition of mr. Myles to the lineup has increased my surf likelihood by about 200%.

In personal news, I got married this year and took a honeymoon to Indonesia.  I got thrashed at Uluwatu and bloodied at Airport Rights. Waves were unreal though. My wife is also learning to surf, so that is a plus...

Ellie, Nate, we are carrying on the Rockaway tradition you both started!  I've been surfing out there since I moved here in 2011.  Oh the highs and oh the lows - so many lows.  Can't have it all I guess - Big City and Big Surf don't go together too often...

Glad everyone is doing well!

So good to hear from everyone... getting the band back together!

Can't believe this list still works - and still holding out hope for a Keith response. Texts be circulating here about Gert's potential to give us a great weekday of overhead surf tomorrow, and some potential for leftovers Thurs. Nothing like the epic 3-4 day stints at Robertsport that we have all enjoyed at one time or another, but take what you can get. What a treat that place is - stoked and jealous that Kent is holding down the fort out there, sand debacle notwithstanding.

Ellie, would love the intro to your buds, and we will def try and track down your Boarders buddies. For sure let us know if you guys come through this side of things, and vice versa. NZ seems a bit far, but certainly attractive...

Mike, that means I am officially living here as of last month, after bouncing between here and Mex over the past year, and likely here for the next two years, perhaps beyond if DT lets me renew my visa in 2019.

Kent, rip those sept/october/nov gems on behalf of all of us... please!

For sure drop us a line if any of you find yourselves here. Should I ever convince Andrew that we should buy a car together - its getting serious! - we will shepherd you to some of the greatest windswell your shins will ever see. And if you're lucky, the occasional head high day in the fall or winter. What it may lack in endless, empty point breaks, we'll make up for with our own dose of fun.

Would love to catch a wave with any or all of you somewhere, sometime - so many fond memories. Hope you're all lovely, keep well.

myles

I was recently in Costa Rica with the family.  The kids surfed everyday and loved it.  I had some great sessions myself, especially a few unforgettable days in Avellenas.  However, I shared the waves with total strangers and it made me nostalgic for our days in Liberia and sharing the lineup together.  They were special times and I never took them for granted.  It's great to see everyone's response on here.......thanks, Myles.

I hope everyone is well, and Kent, I second Elie's request; I would really like to see a few photos of Robertsport.

Hier Vorte, so what are you up to in NYC?I took my kids for summer vacation this year. here's my message:
This is so cool! So awesome that you posted, Mr. We're! Hi Elie and whoever else is still getting this. I actually don't even use the email this used to go to, miraculously noticed the post thanks to smart phone notification. I'm still land locked in Tennessee, still in the toothache business with some real estate on the side. have not made it to this side of the Atlantic in five years of being back, in spite of watching the daily report pictures there nearly every day - frequenting Kendeja-esque waves in St. Augustine. But I have made it to Cali three times! San Diego twice, enjoying Trestles, Scripps, and Blacks (nostalgic of Congo Town waves) and Encinitas, then to the SF area, complete with ice cream headache morning session with Nicholai at Ocean Beach, then on down to Pleasure Point Santa Cruz. I also had one of the first sessions booked in Austin Texas at Nland surf park, but they had to shut it down for repairs right before I went. May head back there in the coming months. Look forward to hearing more about what everyone's up to. Pics linked below. Keith

Great to hear from you all! Except for a trip to Morocco Janne and I took a while back there's been precious little surf in my life. :-/ Living in Bonn Germany and having a wee daughter doesn't make it easy! We've got a bit of climbing though which is somewhat of a replacement.

Thanks for checking in Myles!!
