We found a goodun. Kent, Taya, and I chose to gamble and see what lies on a good swell in Marshall. It’s no Robertsport, but we scored it pretty dang nice. It didn’t hold up as well as you’d think from looking at these pics, but obviously the first section was amazing. The swell was just shy of 7 ft on the charts, so we figured we’d find something. This spot picked up a ton of swell. 90 minute walk, though. Super tiring, especially on the way back.

Cramer had shown me 3 points on google earth and it happened to be the 3rd that was working on this day. It’s quite the walk but well worth it. The other 2 points might have some potential but it would be hard to say the best direction and size for them to be firing. It seems like the ocean might just be a bit too deep around theses points.

The second point peeled soooooo nicely (I have video of three waves just rolling in sync), but it was super mushy. Looked like a long board or fish wave. Maybe on a bigger swell, but that river would get hard to manage by the time the swell got that big. Would someone please send us a zodiac?
