LibDRC Video Quality

I noticed when I connect the WiiU gamepad to my PC the video quality on the gamepad was generally grainy and had quite a few artifacts if too many things on the screen are moving at once. The biggest issue I noticed was during the 3d test demo. If I hit "A" to make the screen white, there was a noticeable lag usually accompanied by some visual artifacts. Is this to be expected, or could something be wrong with my setup?
