Hello everyone. I have been working at getting a connection to the Gamepad for a few days now, but I seem to have hit a roadblock that I can't find a way past. My first major problem was the kernel patch. The patch itself is out of date for the latest kernel used by Ubuntu (3.16.0-14) and so I had to manually diff iface.c to get it to compile. Not a big problem, just one that should be looked into. The problem I am currently stuck on is actually connecting. I can scan for the SSID, see it, and attempt to connect with a pin per the documentation, but all I get is:
<3>SME: Trying to authenticate with 9c:e6:35:45:6c:61 (SSID='WiiU9ce635456c69ce635456c61_STA1' freq=5180 MHz)
<3>Trying to associate with 9c:e6:35:45:6c:61 (SSID='WiiU9ce635456c69ce635456c61_STA1' freq=5180 MHz)
<3>Associated with 9c:e6:35:45:6c:61
<3>CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=9c:e6:35:45:6c:61 reason=3 locally_generated=1
The pin I'm seeing on the screen consistently is heart diamond spade heart so I am using the pin 12015678. Is this wrong? Have I screwed up somewhere down the line?

Thank you,
Gabriel Smith

I have finally gotten thsi to work with a little help from booto. Network Manager turned out to be the culprit even though it had been told to not touch wlan0. As a word of warning to all those in the future, just kill Network Manager, it will save you a headache.
