I recently found this project and made a blog post on how I got libdrc to work in <current year>:
I also made a simple screen capture utility that pipes the video over to the Gamepad. I struggled with getting pipewire screen capture working in C++, so naturally I wrapped libdrc in Rust.
(there are heavy H.264 artifacts and desync issues with modern versions of x264 I've yet to fix, though)
Thought I'd share here in case anyone else wants to do the same.
