Is it possible to have the IP addresses on integer form without having to convert using the inet_pton function?

Thx in advance,

Hello,

no, currently there is no interface to get the numeric IP address from the IP layer.

Hi Esteban,

Is the project open to pull requests? I can create the interface. I think this is really important for intensive tasks. As the conversion from ascii to integer chops off a lot of processing specially in a big loop.

Thank,
Leo

Of course Leo, any contribution is welcome.
