Libarchive 2.6.2 has a handful of point bug fixes since 2.6.1.

Libarchive 2.7 is coming up soon. I would like to have
the first preview release before the end of March. The
ReleaseNotes above include a summary of the changes
going into libarchive 2.7. In particular, there's been a
huge amount of work on Windows portability. If you're
comfortable trying out libarchive/trunk, we'd appreciate
the feedback. If not, I hope you'll keep an eye out for the
preview release in a few weeks and give that a try.
