libarchive 2.8.0 available

I've just posted the official libarchive 2.8.0 release at

http://libarchive.googlecode.com/

This release cycle was primarily about portability.
In particular, the full suite now builds and runs cleanly
on Windows using Cygwin, MinGW, or Visual Studio.
There have also been improvements on many other platforms.

In addition, there have been many new features added
in the eight months since the 2.7 release:
* zisofs read support
* Other ISO9660 reader improvements, including deep directory support
* rpm read support
* uudecode support
* zip writer

I'm pleased also to see libarchive continuing to gain
new users. In particular, Mac OS X 10.6 now ships with
libarchive and bsdtar.

Release notes, issue tracking, and documentation are all
