Hello Buddies,

As Alex had posted about sharing day to day notes , I would like to make this more consistant by forming dedicated groups for each subject for this semester .

The groups would be
1. EXC(Executive Communication)
2. MGE(Managerial Economics)
3. MM1(Marketing Management-1)
4. BFA( Basic Financial Accounting)

So to begin with, I would request each of you to nominate yourself to one of the above mentioned groups so that we can discus further on this.

The roles of the nomanating members would be to
  • Post class notes in an interesting fashion
  • Co-ordinate with the 'Document committee'
  • Coordinate with 'Finance & Events Committee' to plan out events based on yur subject. (Formal & Informal)

Note:
At max. we shall have 5 members in each group.

Pls revert back in case of further queries.

Thanks
Joe

Friends,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

And Joseph to make this effort consistent on a day-to-day basis, I thought of sharing a few points.

The sharing of notes should be like how we post comments in facebook or in groups on informal topics. For example like discussing key points about a cricket match which India won. This will bring more involvement from our friends. Let this be fun at the same time informative.

If our friends have some materials that will explain the concepts in an easier fashion let them post the link or attach the file.

Also, let us keep the discussion pertaining only to the key points discussed in class so that it is not too elaborate. For example in yesterday's case "Depreciation - SLM - WDM - the formula -- companies act 1956," that's it.

When others read the above points let them contribute to it based on whatever they remember. In case the person posting it is wrong or has mis-understood the point he discusses let the person who reads it correct him.

Through this strategy we can share knowledge on a regular basis and we can familiarize ourselves with what is being taught in class. Those of us who are professionals related to finance/marketing/HR are also most welcome to share their knowledge gained at work which is relevant to the class.

Last but not the least, friends, the success of this initiative is purely based on all of your support. So, please friends, spare just a few minutes every day to read and post your comments on the topics discussed in class.

Let us make it a win-win initiative for all of us to gain knowledge on management subjects and to do well in our exams also.

Alex.

Aptly said Alex.

The very base need for the success of this plan would be our participation.
