applying css to an object does not work in Chrome (by using addClassNameBaseVal)

Dear All,

I tried to change the styling of an object on mouse-events by using "addClassNameBaseVal", it worked fine under Safari and Firefox, but not under Chrome.

I am using GWT 2.7.0, Lib-gwt-svg 0.5.11, Chrome 60 and MacOS Sierra.

Please check out http://www.evolgenius.info/evolview/#shared/mvp2017_stats/462 for an example; the bars, numbers or the grayish grid strips should responde to mouse-events.

Any suggestions?
