lib-gwt-file and IE8 crashing

I am trying to use lib-gwt-file for DnD in my GWT application. Its
works perfectly fine, but it completely crashes my page under Internet
Explorer 8. The page displays error and it's not being rendered.

My question is, how to prevent IE 8 from crashes using lib-gwt-file
library?
Instead of breaking IE I will expect displaying just a simple message,
that this functionality (I mean DnD) is not supported.

I will be really grateful for your help.
