Nowin its seventh year, the Envision UC Davis campus visit program enables California's most promising grad school hopefuls to develop an understanding and appreciation of graduate education. The program sponsors California senior undergraduates and recent bachelor's degree grads for an action-packed weekend on the Davis campus, allowing them to envision their future as a graduate student at UC Davis.

The program is open to California residents who hope to apply for graduate school in the next two years and allows them to envision their future as a graduate student at UC Davis. Envision seeks to eliminate the barriers that prevent underrepresented students from successfully entering and completing graduate school, and encourages applications from individuals who have perspectives or experiences of groups who are historically underrepresented in higher education.

Accommodations, most meals, and transportation subsidies will be provided for all accepted participants. Those who complete the program will be granted an application fee waiver should they choose to apply for admission to a UC Davis graduate program.

Envision UC Davis was born out of our shared vision to create a more diverse and talented workforce at UC Davis, in the State of California, and across the nation. We will reach our vision by increasing the diversity and talent pool for students prepared to enter graduate school.

As an Envision UC Davis participant, you will have the opportunity to envision yourself as a graduate student at UC Davis. Apply to explore life in one of our 50+ graduate programs or unique interdisciplinary graduate groups.

Computer graphics, advanced visualization, auditory (sound), haptic (touch), and multimodal interaction integrate with state-of-the-art high performance computation to assist researchers, instructors, and leaders in their quest for new knowledge and innovative products.

All Purdue Faculty, Students, and Staff are eligible for Envision Center services with our University approved internal rates. Clients external to Purdue University may also contract with the Envision Center using the appropriate rates including overhead and licensing fees. All projects, proposals, and consulting begin with an initial meeting to assess the scope of our involvement and is followed up with an estimate of our services and a Statement of Work.
