can anyone help me?? i would like to know how to get an anime looking character (like this ) without failure: the links to EVERYTHING i need and/or how to make one so it doesn't glitch out and i won't have any problems, im only new to pc so im finding most of the mods hard to use. thanks ALSO, I WOULD love TO KNOW THE BEST MOD TO MAKE SKYRIM LOOK ULTRA COLOURFUL!!!
I strongly recommend the first 4 videos on this playlist. It will take a bit of time from you, but will also help you understand many of the intricacies of working with a mod manager, but more importantly how mods work behind the scenes (this is important, you'll need this in order to install certain mods properly, and to keep your game folder under control, your game stable, and more importantly to not break the game while installing mods).
Also, Gopher (the youtube user who made that playlist) has a Mod Sanctuary series of videos where he showcases mods, but he also shows how to install each one of them. It can be beneficial to watch that series, since you'll end up finding interesting mods, but you'll also learn by watching him installing them.
That said, the one thing I can help you with is about getting skyim to be more colorful. There's probably more ways to do it, but I usually do it with a mod called IMAGINATOR. It's simple to install, simple to use, and doesn't impact the performace of the game. Just read the mod's page to see how to use it and what it can do. (I usualy just use it to add saturation to the colors and a bit more contrast - but you can go wild with it and get other interesting results - and it comes with a few presets)
About getting anime faces, I really don't know... Hopefully someone will be able to help you with that, but I suppose you'll need a face mod, an eyes mod, and some hair mods. I just don't know which ones would be more apropriate for that specific look. I wouldn't mind finding this out as well. I like anime.
IMAGINATOR is a cool tool too, but I stopped using it after it started doing funny things to my save games. It's a LOT more stable and FPS friendly then an ENB though, and you can really do almost anything you want with it.
ApachiiSkyHair can get you some anime looking hair, CBBE adds a very 'anime looking' female body (in my opinion) Other then that just search 'eyes' and 'lips' and such, and find mods that add in eyes and lips that look very anime-esque!
for a better anime looking charachter i used Enhanced Charachter Edit and all the hair mods i can find plus added a naruto overhaul and some mods here and with little good editing the face i created one of the six path of pain, second female chikushodo with rinnegan eyes and all only without a robe
I must say I've been trying Enhanced Character Edit mixed with CBBE faces and that produced some interesting results already (I even managed to made a wood elf look pretty! Who would think...). But yes, hair packs will also go a long way to make it better.
I suggest Numenume Hair, and this Hair Pack. I'm still trying to find more hair packs that help. Apachii hair is good, but seems more western styled overall, I think, though I dislike it mostly because it looks awful without armor. (Careful using apachii hair version for NPCs if you have a slower computer. Those hairs are quite high poli and will affect performance quite a lot if applied to all NPCs (there's a low poli version around, though, but I don't know if it has an NPC version).
There's also this mod called Envision Face that seems to work well with ECE, but I haven't tried it myself. The mod's page has a list of mods used to get the results he shows, which is helpful too. I'm going to try to mix Covereyes and some others with what I have now as well.
I found this tool a lot more flexible than Imaginator. It allows you to set up different presets for different lighting conditions, and interior/exterior spaces. It takes a little practice to get the hang of but it's worth it once you do.
And if you do a girl version you need a boy version. It is really sad to see characters that have no match. I love the Cartoon versions of Genesis 3 but there is really no equivalent female version. If you release please do both at the same time.
But the real limiting factor here isn't so much the model at the moment but rather there isn't enough anime hair or anime hair that is versatile enough. If you're desparate enough you can hunt for genesis 3 hair that kinda has that garage kit feel similar to the the Saber picture you posted on top. But it isn't exactly the best thing to do as you can get fitting and morphing issues. Even with the old stuff the anime hair is still limited.
Yea, unfortuantely its easy to mess up the Sakura 8 face without going to "extreme" facial expressions or morphs. I haven't actually had the eye socket issue with the normal DAZ models even after putting multiple expressions on it. I've actually sent a ticket to DAZ about the Sakura 8 problem. They were able to replicate it, but they are not planning on fixing it.
Hiro 5 for Genesis is a nice anime male character. I mix him with Hiro 3 or 4 and sometimes Aiko 3 and 4 shapes for a bit more variety. I also mix his shape with Animated Shapes for Genesis 2 Male for more mature male characters.
Hiro 5 is not Hiro. The model was made by Mallen Lane as a male counter part to his Hitomi ( -for-genesis-bundle) but was bought by DAZ who branded it Hiro 5 despite being a totally different style as Aiko 5.
Almost forgot about Hitomi, and she's a nice anime character morph too. I tend to mix in aiko 3 or 4 for more slender morphs. Tossed this image together yesterday to see how close I could get to the art statue sample in the first post. Probably should have used Genesis 3's Star 2.0 and SF Anime Character Builder to get a closer match to Saber, but I don't have a very big library of G3F clothes and I'm more used to working with Genesis. Rendered in Iray.
I wish they could at least give us G8 versions of the older anime morphs, can't very well do it ourselves with Gen X, seeing as the genius who blessed us with that amazing tool has passed on. Thus no new itteration.
Funny that, this old discussion that kinda ends with the suggestion to look into perhaps obtaining content from external providers is exactly where I am at right now. Just bougt the wonderful Sakura 8 Pro bundle and was indeed looking for an equally excellent male counterpart. The Sasuke character mentioned above was on sale so I bought him. Sasuke is ok I guess even though Smart Content is sure he is a female which should perhaps not be surprising given that the figure is "Sasuke for Sakura 8" after all, but it doesn't make things easier in the hair and wardrobe department. For now the only half-way decent hair I have for Sasuke is "Armani Hair" from the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials". Any tips where to find (or Frankenstein/cobble together) a worthy Sakura 8 male counterpart?
I recently purchased Lady Littlefox's Briar, Bramble and Bean for Genesis 8 Male. They are more companions for Posey and Petunia than for Sakura, but both character sets come with no-nostril nose grafts. There's also LexaKiness's Tidazo for Genesis 8 Male, another nice anime male with Tahiza For Genesis 8 Female as the female counterpart (both available at Renderosity). Using GenX and X-Transfer, I've been combining Briar et al with Hiros 3,4 and 5 and other anime and toon characters/ morph assets to create male character counterpart for Sakura 8. The nose grafts included with the Lady Littlefox characters are especially nice as X-Transfer doesn't retain the nostril morphs for Hiro 5 unfortunately.
Ah, how I longed to be that cold, spring breeze that ruffled your ruddy locks, or that gentle drizzle that soaked your shoulders and lighted softly upon your shivering, pink lips. I would have settled on being the grasses beneath your feet or the steed you trotted down the road past my home. I wished to be anything that could feel your bare skin, but I was just a distant shadow watching from my balcony that you didn't even notice.
