Crockpot Mediterranean Chicken cooks low and slow in the crockpot to create an amazing dish packed with moist chicken thighs, olives, red peppers, onion, Italian spices, capers, and plenty of flavor. Serve it with some Mashed Cauliflower or Spinach Polenta for a restaurant worthy meal.

Brandon the chef explained that the oven can reach 600 F (315 C) in some spots and 400 F (200 C) in others so it is so important to get to understand this approach to cooking. There is also a ledge at the front for gentler heating. Alison the host also mentioned that Russ was actually dining in the restaurant and as I am an avid collector of recipe books I could not resist buying the Camino cookbook and getting him to sign it as a memento of the evening.

This tender and juicy jerk chicken breast with peppers and onions will change your mind forever. It's so good!!! Make this recipe when you want easy stir fry with some yummy delicious sauce you can serve with just about anything.

If you are looking for an easy chicken breast dinner recipe that is packed with flavor and the whole family would enjoy then you are in the right place. This recipe is as easy and straightforward as it comes. The chicken breast is flattened before searing until golden brown so that they are of similar size and cook at the same time. I then saute the bell peppers and onions with savory jerk seasoning before adding them together so that the flavors can marry.

The result is a dish that is packed with flavor, the chicken is very moist and juicy. The best part about this recipe is that it can easily be made in under 30 minutes, making it perfect for those busy weeknights.

I was looking for a recipe that would use up my leftover peppers from a previous meal. This fit the bill. We do like it with a bit more sauce, so I added 1 cup chicken broth and a bit of pasta water rather than just the 1/4 c. Unfortunately we can't eat anything spicy, so I used my Italian seasonings with fresh garlic. I added the juice with the peppers, onions, & garlic to my pre-made (5 oz of thin spaghetti) and served the chicken breast on the side. Very easy and quick meal. Thank you!

I just made this. didn't have olive oil, chicken stock or jerk seasoning so I used regular cooking oil, 2 bouillon cubes dissolved in the water, and cayenne pepper. the recipe was quick and easy to follow and it came out tasting and looking great. I served it with rice and stewed lentils ?

Things have changed a lot in the past 8 years. The buildings down Rua de Mouzinho da Silveira leading from the train station to the waterfront are no longer crumbling ruins. It looks entirely new, but not changed from the original style. There are tourists. Lots of tourist. Clogging all the lanes that during my first visit seemed dark and menacing. The steep hillside brick roads that were once entirely shuttered residentials are bustling with bars and shops and restaurants. The entire old district which had been abandoned to the criminals and the drug dealers has been brought back to life. Our cabbie says none of the locals would come down to this area before but now everyone comes here to enjoy the beauty.

Also look out for Baby octopus, slow-cooked for four hours and served with peas and a warm slice of sourdough; signature pizzas with light, thin crusts like the Squid ink dough pizza, topped with Sicilian prawns, bottarga, yellow cherry tomato, rocket and lemon zest; Risotto with Sicilian prawns from Mazara del Vallo that have been infused with blood orange, lemon and lime; Flamed salt-baked sea bass that is set alight and cooked table-side within a thick layer of salted pastry; and Pollo alla stemperata, an incredible tangy stew made with pan-roasted chicken thighs, carrots, celery and green olives.
