I have been searching for this type of quran for a while in the uk (with uthamani script, tajweed and word for word translation). Although its A4 size its lightweight and can be read on a regular basis. The pages are a bit thinner than the normal tajweed quran but they are not flimsy. I would have preferred a white page opposed to cream but i think once i start reading it regularly should get used to it iA. Just happy that i came across this. I have found out there are lots of other versions but this is the only one available in the uk that i am aware of. It tis a bit expensive but it is the only one available of this kind that i have come across. Just to mention its mainly a tajweed quran with meanings and a small booklet is included with some hadith. Update had to mention that although the translation given on the side is good as it is taken from the noble quran.
The document provides a summary of some basic rules of tajweed (proper recitation of the Quran). It discusses correct pronunciation of letters, full mouth and open/closed letters, rules for letters like ghunnah, idghaam, ikhfa, izhaar, and others. It also covers tajweed rules related to specific letters like meem, ra, and laam. Finally, it outlines symbols used for stopping, optional stopping, and brief pauses, as well as general rules related to stopping, or waqf. The overall purpose is to teach foundational tajweed principles in a clear and concise manner.Read less
Tajweed idgham has several meanings in the language, and others in the terminology of the scholars of readings, and among the most prominent meanings of idgham tajweed in the language is to idgham the letter in the letter: insert it into it and join it to it.
Moreover, tajweed rules idgham in terminology: It is the meeting of a consonant letter with another vowel letter so that the two letters become one stressed letter, so the tongue rises one height if the reader pronounces them as if it were a letter, and it is the weight of two letters.
idgham mutamatsilain: It is when the two consecutive letters are united in the way out of the mouth, and also united in the adjective, whether they fall in one word or in two consecutive words, as the Almighty said: (فَما رَبِحَتْ تِجارَتُهُمْ), and the Almighty said: (يُدْرِكْكُمُ الْمَوْتُ), It is divided into three sections:
In conclusion, the science of intonation is one of the most important sciences that should receive great attention from a Muslim, and the science of intonation is divided into a set of rulings, and among these provisions is tajweed idgham.
And it is pronounced by idgham the sakna tanween and tanween in these letters with the display of ghunnah, as the Almighty says: (مَلِكاً نُقاتِلْ), here the tanween is combined with the letter Nun with the ghunnah Izhar.
It is every two letters that are similar, both of them are vowels, and its rule is to Izhar, except in three places: (تَأمَنّا), so it became one noun. (مَكَّنّي), so its origin مكنني, but it was merged.
Idgham mutaqaribain are the two letters that converge in the exit and the adjective, or in the exit without the adjective, or the adjective without the exit, and it is divided into sagheer, kabir, and mutlak, and it is by replacing the first with the gender of the second letter.
so the letter lam is merged into the letter ra, as well as the combination of qaf into the kaf, and its example: (أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم), as well as the combination of lam in the lam al-shamsiya (اللَّيْلَ), and as for the Kabir, its ruling is to Izhar, like the word (عَدَدَ سِنِينَ).
And its ruling is idgham tajweed, and as for without ghunna, its example: if they are ظلموا يلهث ذلك ودت طائفة so it is by idgham without ghunna, and as for the Kabir, its rule is to Izhar, as well as the mutlak.

The first thing in tajweed rules to learn is makhraj or origin of words. The 29 Arabic letters originate from 17 different places in your mouth that give each letter its distinctive sound. Pronouncing the letter clearly and correctly from the place it originates is the first thing to learn.
Sifat or attributes are the elements that determine how a letter should be pronounced, either soft or sharp. Then there are also basic rules called ikhfa, ghunna, idzar, idgha, qalb that determine the sounds of letters when meeting certain letters. Adding to these tajweed rules is madd or elongation that determines the length in which a letter should be pronounced under certain conditions.
Knowing the basic tajweed rules will at least not make you do the common mistakes in Quran recitation. There are two known common mistakes among scholarships; clear mistakes and unobvious mistakes. The clear mistakes include the incorrect pronunciation of words that can change the meaning of the words. This can be a fatal mistake as you may deliver wrong message.
The common clear mistakes among scholars are changing one letter into another, or a short vowel (harakah) into another, not observing the elongations (madd), and stopping or starting at an incorrect place so that the meaning is spoilt.
Preoccupation with the Quran is one of the most virtuous acts of worship, whether by reciting it, pondering on its meanings, or working according to its teachings. Quran recitation is great art in its self. There is a difference between reading and reciting Quran.
Learning the tajweed rules and reciting Quran perfectly can help you to please Allah and to receive His blessings. And remember, practice and practice. Repetition will make perfect insha Allah.
