Open any presentation, click on the Share menu, and navigate to Share externally. Next to each link in the Share menu, you can see the analytics icon and the number of total visits each link has received.
Optional: add a link name. If you do not add a link name, you can use the default link name that is automatically generated. Link names will be reflected in the custom URL, so they are visible to viewers. If you change a link name later, anyone with the old link will still be able to access your presentation.
You can accomplish a lot in Pitch while offline. You will be able to create and edit presentations, use collaboration features, and organize your folders. In order to work efficiently without an internet connection, we recommend using our desktop app and preloading any presentations you may want to work on. When you are back online, any changes made will be synced.
Love using our stickers and illustrations? Great, you can add as many as you like when creating presentations in Pitch. Find out more about working with stickers. However, when sharing content beyond the context of a presentation, these cartoons owned by Pitch are subject to certain usage restrictions.
However, if your using a completely different email and would like to use the new email, you'd need to create a new Pitch account and move your presentations into the new account. Here's a guide to help.
Both the quick menu and keyboard shortcuts help you work faster in Pitch. The quick menu (Command + K on macOS and Ctrl + K on Windows, or press the search bar on the dashboard) allows you to find and take specific actions faster, and you can even search your entire workspace for a presentation. The keyboard shortcuts panel, accessible via the help button in the bottom right corner, serves as a reminder for shortcuts you might not be using regularly.
You can copy and paste slides from one Pitch presentation to another. Select one or more slides in the slide navigator and press Command + C (or Ctrl + C on Windows). Open the other presentation and click on a slide in the slide navigator. Once you press Command + V (or Ctrl + V on Windows) the slide(s) will be added below the selected slide. You can find these shortcuts in the keyboard shortcuts menu, accessible from the question mark button in the bottom right corner in the Pitch app.
Right now, you will see red lines to guide you when moving a block on your slide. Guides appear close to the edge of the presentation, in the vertical and horizontal centers of the slide, and at the edges of nearby content blocks. Find out more about aligning content in this article. There is currently no way to display these guides constantly or to add custom grids or rulers to your slides. If this feature is important for you, you can vote for it here.
In Pitch, when you paste without formatting, we apply the target format of your presentation. To paste without formatting, press Command + Shift + V (or Ctrl + Shift + V on Windows). In a Safari browser, the command to paste without formatting is Command + Shift + Option + V. If you simply paste using Command + V (or Ctrl + V on Windows), it will keep the origin's formatting.
When you remove a workspace member, any presentation in their private folders will no longer be accessible. Any presentations located in workspace folders or shared private folders (shared with at least one other workspace member) will still be available.
Slide navigator: An interactive preview showing all slides in your presentation. Click a slide to make it the current slide. You can scroll through the slides by pulling the scroll bar beneath them or placing two fingers on your trackpad.
With Pitch for mobile, you can share links anywhere. Open a presentation, tap the options menu up top, and select Share link. Keep in mind that if a presentation isn't public, only invited guests and workspace members will be able to open the link. Depending on your device and sharing settings, you can share presentations over AirDrop, text, email, Slack, and more.
You can export a presentation to PDF directly from the mobile app. Open a presentation, tap on the options icon in the top-right corner, and tap Export to PDF. Once the PDF is created, tap Save to share it via your preferred app.
If a presentation is in one of your private or workspace folders, you can manage public access across devices. To make a presentation public from our mobile apps, open a presentation and tap the options menu up top. Then tap Public access to enable anyone with the link to view your work. Guests and workspace members with limited access can see if your presentation is public, but can't disable access.
Open a presentation, tap the options menu up top, then tap Invite others. Enter an email address, select their permissions, and tap Invite. Just like with our desktop and web apps, you can choose between Can view, Can comment, and Can edit.
No matter your access level, you can share a presentation link. That means you can share a link via SMS, Slack, and more. If a presentation is public, anyone with the link will be able to view it; otherwise only individuals with access to the presentation (like workspace members and guests) will be able to open the link.
You can create custom links directly from the mobile apps. Open a presentation, tap on the options icon in the top-right corner, and tap Share with anyone. You can now tap on New custom link to add a link name and passcode. Read more about custom links.
Dashboard: View the eight most recently edited presentations in your current workspace. You can also view any private, shared, and workspace folders. Tap a folder to view the presentations inside it.
With Pitch for mobile, you can browse and open any presentations in your workspace, just like on our web and desktop apps. Navigate between any private, shared, or workspace folders and view a list of the presentations stored in them. Presentations are visible from the Dashboard and Workspace tabs. To browse folders, tap the Workspace tab and then tap the folder you wish to view.
To replace any unsupported elements in your slide, click and delete the placeholder block and add a Pitch element of your choice. We have a range of charts to choose from, to which you can add your data and enhance your presentation.
You can accomplish a lot in Pitch while offline. In order to work efficiently without an internet connection, we recommend preloading any presentations you may want to work on. To get your presentation ready before going offline, you need to open your presentation and make sure to go through all slides. When you're back online, any changes made will be synced.
Pitch for mobile complements our desktop and web app experience. While you can't create or edit presentations, you can review existing presentations, add and respond to feedback, follow progress, and add speaker notes.
Tap on an individual slide to open the slide view. The slide view lets you focus on one slide and the conversation and workflow around it. Below the slide, you'll notice a few options: Comment, React, Notes, Set Status, Assign, and Full Screen. Swiping the slide will move you forward and backward in the presentation.
Never miss a beat on the presentations you're working on. Whenever someones assigns a slide to you, replies to your comment, or mentions you in a comment, you'll receive an in-app notification. You'll also get notified anytime someone invites you to a presentation or workspace, or if there's activity on a presentation you've subscribed to.
You can also drag your video file into Pitch directly from your computer. Even better, you can upload multiple files at the same time when you drag and drop. You can upload up to ten videos per slide, and there is no limit to the number of videos that can be uploaded to a single presentation. An indicator in the top right-hand corner of the editor will let you know your video is being uploaded.
If you can't find a presentation, make sure you're in the correct workspace! It can get confusing especially if you joined a lot of workspaces. Look on the left sidebar to find your workspaces and click on them to switch to that workspace.
Device & browser: An icon will indicate whether the presentation was viewed on mobile or desktop. In addition to the browser information, you will also be able to see whether the presentation was viewed as a public link (Web) or embed (Embed).
You can choose to ask for consent from your visitors by turning the toggle on or off. When turned on, visitors opening a presentation will see a popover asking for their consent when they open a link.
After you delete a font, you will not be able to select it when editing your presentations and creating styles; however, if a presentation or template is using that font, the font will render correctly and you will be able to edit existing text blocks with that font.
Also, consider the design aspect of putting a presentation together. The more flexibility you have to reach the image quality your slides deserve, the better the pitch deck tool can help your different startup goals.
Extra features that allow for team collaboration, slide sharing, and remote presentation are also quite useful. We rely on this material to move our company projects forward. Never forget analytics or at least a tracking view of what happens with your deck as you socialize it to reach your business goals.
Workspace and workflow. If you have a team that makes and shares slide decks, there are a bunch of features that are helpful, like setting consistent styles shared across presentations, and assigning particular slides to a team member. You can even mark slides as approved, in need of editing, etc.
