Another example , every1 passed a token from normal raid which is not even for my class , and i looted boss to grab my crests and i took it , wanted to trade to some1 for offspec and couldnt trade it
Something is bugged for sure , and its not addons as blizzard suggested since today i played the game without addon folder at all in the wow folder , simply totally default wow ui with 0 addons or anything , did dungeon got item , immediatelly soulbound . im Pissed!
I too have had this problem. Blizzard fix the issue! I have submitted 3 separate tickets as well. I have 445 I level and every piece of gear I have looted in raid, mythic+ or just simple dungeons it is automatically soulbound NEVER equipped. The problem exists and they are not fixing anything about it. I have submitted 3 separate bug reports and nothing has been done. My mates can trade me gear but I cannot trade. Please fix the issue.
Note that you can have soulbound items modified by other characters by putting the item in the bottom ("Will Not Be Traded") spot of the trade window. You can have a blacksmith attach spurs to a soulbound boot, or an enchanter apply an enchantment to a soulbound item this way. The only way to dispose of one is to either sell it to vendor, hand it over as a quest objective, destroy it, use it as a spell/trade skill reagent, or disenchant it if you're an enchanter.
The item can also become Account bound. It happens to items marked as Binds to account after being acquired by a player. Unlike soulbound items, they can be sent by mail to other characters of the same account and realm, including those of opposing faction (patch 3.3).
Soulbound Items are items that cannot be transferred to other players, or other players outside of the player's Co-op (if they have one). This means that they cannot be sold to the Auction House or Bazaar, and they cannot be traded to anyone except the player's Co-op.
You cannot move bind-on-pickup items to another character. This includes Legacy Legendary items unusable by a specific class. Only Account Bound items are intended to be moved to any character on the same account.
Soulbound is the system that RotMG uses for certain rare drops, usually from the most powerful mobs in the game. In RotMG, it simply means that only the person it dropped for can loot it. That means, if you saw it on the ground, it was yours - no one else could pick it up. Only some of the best items in the game are protected that way, so it's probably pretty valuable.
I don't play enough RotMG to know what that exact item does, sorry. After being looted, soulbound doesn't actually do anything else that I know of - you can trade it or drop it, or lose it to death like any other item. It just keeps the soulbound "tag" to remind you that it was soulbound on drop.
Soulbound items and soulbound loot are different in RotMG. In this case you have a soulbound item. Soulbound items will be lost on death. Soulbound items cannot be given to other players by dropping it or trading it.
Soulbound loot just means purple/cyan/white bags, which cannot be accessed by other players, unlike brown/pink bags. If you drop a soulbound item on the ground, it will appear in a purple bag and only you will be able to see it.
Soulbound is how much damage you did to a said enemy. The more damage you did the greater the chance that you will get stuff. Not all enemies can drop soulbound items. Only higher level enemies can. SOulbound bags are colored purple, cyan, orange or white.
I see there are a couple of items in the store that let you trade the untradeable: a stone that lets you unbind something, which I assume is for normally tradeable stuff that you've worn but want to pass on to someone, and a courier pass that lets you mail pieces marked as untradeable. Am I understanding that correctly? If so, I have a couple of questions.
Then you have Soul Bound gear. All Archdaeva gear (66+) is like this (with few exceptions). This one is tradeable, but to use it you will have to Soul Bind it to use it, making it completely untradeable and character bound.
Soulbound Items are items that cannot be transferred to players outside of your Co-op. This means that they cannot be sold to the Auction House or Bazaar, and they cannot be traded to anyone outside of your Co-op.
Items are things that can be collected and stored in one's inventory. The inventory classifies items into 3 categories: Equipments, Consumables, and Miscellaneous Items. However, items can come in many different forms, such as Weapons, Armor, Headgear, Quest Items, Currencies, etc.
Soulbound Items are a special type of item that cannot be traded with other players nor dropped on the ground for others to pick up. If the player tries to drop a Soulbound Item, they will instead get a confirmation message on whether they want to destroy the item. However, Soulbound Items can be placed in the Nilgarf Banks, allowing different slots of the same account to access the item.
Cursebound items are an upcoming type of item that can only be obtained in the upcoming Location, The Badlands. Cursebound items will drop if the owner dies or leaves the game. It was also stated that Cursebound could be removed from items at safezone.
You cannot trade with an unregistered player or someone who has not selected a unique name. Also, unregistered players cannot request trades with other players. Similarly, trading with a player with a gray name is not possible. Likewise, anyone playing on a guest account is incapable of trading.
Backstory: I had two Mad King back pieces that were both soulbound to my main. This was mildly annoying as I would have liked to use the Green one on another toon, but it was still just the lame green one, so I left it in my bank and continued to sport my fancy Flame one. Yesterday however, I became quite bothered upon realizing my soon-to-be-obtained Fractal back piece has a cool graphic I would like to use...on the same character with the Flame Book.
Soulbinding is a game mechanic that limits the ownership of items by permanently attaching them to a character. Once an item is attached it is considered soulbound and cannot be traded. This mechanic can be used to prevent twinking; gaining an advantage by using an item before their intended level. Items may have different means of becoming soulbound:
"Bind to Account" or "Bind on Account" (BoA) is a broader form of BoE in which the player is allowed to share items between any character on their account. This would allow players trade items as hand-me-downs to their newer characters, but not to other players' accounts.
Some quest items, such as the Horadric Scroll is untradeable between players. Others, like the Hellforge Hammer is tradeable, and since it does not have level restrictions it could be given to a new character to aid in leveling.
The Soul Shard trading interface displays 3 items from the_vault on the right, with a cost in Soul Shards next to each. The player may purchase these items if they have sufficient Soul Shards in their inventory and/or Shard Pouch; doing so causes the trade slot to be disabled until the trades refresh. Alternatively, they may purchase a random item for 350 Soul Shards; they may do this as often as they like.
The 3 known items are the same for all players on the server and refresh every 12 hours, at 03:00 and 15:00 UTC. If the server is offline during these times, when it comes back online the trades will instantly refresh only if it has been at least 24 hours since the last successful refresh.[verify]
the only reason i want to be able to share scraps between characters is because i love low level items that help me level faster. All i wish is that scrap and iron could be easily transfer between characters so i could craft lower level greens to my hearts content. As it is now over 2000 scrap is just sitting in my inventory doing nothing as is a ton of iron.
I have a bunch of stuff i wanna send to my main character before i delete my alt, but it's impossible because most of it cant be sent even though it CAN be traded. So i'm stuck selling it all and just sending the money to my main character... Not only that, but i'm about to get the Regium Corvus outfit from the wheel, but i dont like how it looks on females. I wanna store it until i can buy another character slot and create a male character for it, but if i claim it on one of my current females, it's stuck there. For that reason, i'm having to delete my alt to make space for a male character to give it to. This is just ridiculous, it's NEVER this hard in any other game. Why are there multiple tabs to the vault (only the primary of which can hold outfits), if there's no account-wide storage? This just doesnt make any sense.
Tradeable items can be mailed to your Main/Alt, As for items that cant be sent but can be traded find someone you trust a lot and get it done. the Regium Corvus doesn't get sent too your current character it gets left in the chest in the bottom right of your screen which is shared across all characters on your account Claim it on whoever you want just make sure your on the character you want it on before claiming from the chest..
Sadly i dont have any friends that play BnS. I simply dont understand why tradable items arent allowed to be sent via mail, I've already started selling everything, then i'm just gonna send all the money to my main character. As for the Regium Corvus, that's what i mean. Once you claim it, it's only available to one of your characters, and cant be swapped to another character. Same for the Hongmoon Store items. If i pay for it, it should be available to as many characters on the account as i want. Oh well, hopefully there will be enough community outcry to make them add account-wide storage.
