MDRT Membership Fee – Reimbursement

Similarly, it is reported that lot of Branches/Divisions are refusing to reimburse the Membership Fee, on the plea that “it is paid only to those who physically attend the MDRT’s 2013 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in June, 2013”.
To alleviate the apprehensions, please note the position as under :
1. By Circular dt. 04-01-2013, CO(Mktg.) had stated that Membership Fee will be reimbursed only to those Members who attend the MDRT 2013 Annual Meeting.
2. By a Corrigendum Circular dt. 12-01-2012, CO(Mktg) have clarified that the effect of above Circular dt. 04-01-2013 will take place from Membership year 2014.
All other Benefits, advances and reimbursements will remain unchanged. Copies of LIC’s both the above Circulars dt. 04-01-2013 and 12-01-2013 are attached herewith for your perusal.
Therefore, for the Membership year 2013, all those who have become Members of the MDRT under Commission and Premium Qualification, will be eligible to claim reimbursement of the Membership Fee from LIC, irrespective whether he/she attends the Annual Meeting or not, but on production of Membership evidence viz. :
Ø Copy of Membership Application Form
Ø Copy of Membership Approval Letter and Membership Certificate from MDRT
Ø Copy of Membership Payment (Copy of D/D or Online payment)
Ø If online payment, furnish copy of Credit Card Statement.
