Medical Charges for Medical Test

Hi All,

        Please help me to get a Circular for the Medical Charges that is required for Conducting a Medical Test for a LIC Customer.

Ref : For a High value Jeevan Anand Policy the customer needs to undergo a Medical Test in New Delhi. TPA call the customer and demanded the fees for that medical test. Before we had referred many cases but the TPA never demanded money from the customer.

If there is any  such circulars, please forward and also please let us know that what if the customer pays for the test. Is there any process for refunding the money to the customer after the test.

I had similar case. The out station TPA charges the party and must issue receipt for the medical reports.LIC willrefund on proposal completion.

Tanmoyda,

                If the person is reviving the policy, then he will have to pay from his own pocket for this Medical Test. Otherwise

if he is going to purchase a new policy, then the TPA cannot charge anything from him.LIC will bear the cost of all the Medical Test.
