hi friends,

this year first new conventional plan is launched in 23 jan 2012

this new plan LIC's Jeevan Ankur has much awaited facility are included

i hope its one of gem plan for child educational purpose

but in the premium table there is new word in the end

"Note: - The above premium is exclusive of Service Tax"

what its meaning if there is any more to be added to premium what is the rate

but service tax circular says only for risk premium component service tax to be added

please clarify

Dear sir,

The Service tax plus education cess works out to be 1.545% of the premium instalment. please add the amount while calculating the premium instalment, otherwise you will end up paying the same from your own pocket.
