We are seeking highly motivated and talented master's students to join a mutual project between Leiden University and Elsevier in the field of machine learning and natural language processing. The primary objective of this project is to harness the capabilities of generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and other appropriate algorithms to create alternative text for figures found within scientific documents.
