Dear all,

My colleague Lauren Fonteyn (CC) of the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (LUCL) is searching for student assistants/research assistants (paid positions) for a project involving natural language processing (NLP). You can find the description below.

Best regards,
Suzan

The MacBERTh project team is looking to hire talented research assistants to support them in the evaluation of the BERT models they have trained on historical English and Dutch. The research assistants will help assess the performance of the models as data retrieval and/or classification tools in specific case studies on historical textual material (English and/or Dutch).

The position is open to talented Research Master or Master students or recent MA graduates who successfully completed the Text Mining course or another course on NLP. You would get a paid job/internship on the project (max. 0.5fte for max 1 year). Research Assistants can start as of January 2022. Interested parties should contact Dr. Lauren Fonteyn (l.fo...@hum.leidenuniv.nl).
