So there's the first Megacon this coming Saturday. Info from an email

Dear Chapter Presidents!


A week from today your fellow chapter presidents are hosting the first
ever CIA/REC Megacon, meaning that the megacon was supported and
hosted by chapter presidents. We have a number of fantastic topics
ranging from statutory rape to soda in elementary and middle schools
to the atomic bomb. I highly encourage you all to attend.


Here are the details:


Saturday, February 26, 9am-2:30pm
The College Preparatory School, 6100 Broadway Ave. Oakland CA
This is the first opportunity for candidates to campaign this season;
there will be a candidates forum, where they can present their ideas
and speak.


Since this is a one day event, no pre-registration is required, but
there will be a $5 fee at the door. Everyone is invited to attend,
especially those who have never been to JSA before. Student and
teachers are welcome (you are not required to bring a TA)!, and
students may drive themselves to the convention. However, The College
Preparatory School is located just a ten minute walk from Rockridge
BART, so please consider taking public transportation. I encourage
everyone to attend and bring their chapters. In the past, we have
always had a number of schools attend a one-day, but only a few people
from each school. I hope that you can all come to the event the event
and that you can all bring a chapter.


At the bottom of the email, I attached the current version of the
agenda. To a certain extent it is still a work in progress, so it may
be updates between now and the megacon. The most updated version is

There is still one debate slot open, so if you would like to debate

funded NASA's movement to land on the moon, send me an email!
