3rd Saturday travel

Good morning LHANC BUZZERS,

For those of you that are planning on partaking in the 3rd Sat. walk at Sheldon Lake SP, be advised that West Lake Houston Prky will be closed at 1960 from 12am Sat. to 12pm Sat.  The contractor will be laying concrete over WLHP.  

 

So what to do.  Well you could just stay home, but that wouldn't be any fun, or you could use an alternative route.  Don't know any....well there are two options.

 

1.  WLHP to 1960.  Turn left heading East on 1960  100 yards turn right on Farmingham and cut through parking lot behind Water burger to WLHP.  Could be a bit congested.

 

2.  Cross SJ River on WLHP.  Turn left at first light (Kings river Dr.) and follow to 1960.  Road changes to Atascocita Shores Dr.  Meet me at the Chevron station across 1960 by 7:30 and follow me through the Hood to WLHP.

 

For those that live South of 1960 or coming from another direction, just do your normal thing.....
