Dear friends,

After the fantabulous reunion, its time to get back to mundane work.

I thought it would interest everybody to know who all contributed and how we spent the funds. The attendance (with family) at the dinner on the 19th of Dec at Delhi Flying club was about 105-110. The attendees at the Hardinge reunion lunch on the 20th was about 46.

In the last few days the collections exceeded our expectations, which is good because now we have some funds to donate to our college as well. (see statement of accounts below)

Also we should all stay in touch as most are in positions where we can help each other in many ways. I suggest that we try to meet on the day of the Hardinge Lunch/reunion every year, we may just gather there and then go out for lunch, ofcourse e-mail is always there.

Best wishes for the New Year

Gauri

Well done Gauri and her team of girls who put their heart and souls to make the Reunion Ceremony a success!

Was a grand time...

Thanks for the statement of accounts..much appreciated..

I personally feel , that all of us are well established to want to squander  public funds(belongs to whole group) in picnics or gettogethers. When ever whoever gets 2gether, dinners can always be arranged on a contributory basis.Yes when funds were at hand they could have been utilised in a better way, but that time has  now gone by. I did offer to Nishi that we would pay for the hip scarves( settle the account), however she needed them so I graciously returned them..
It would be a good idea if you took a vote of consensus, that if we gave the money to the college, what aspect of development should it be used for..??
I can suggest updating/buying books for the LIb, as when a student I did feel there werent many copies of books needed..
List of books can be generated, and I suggest,,books be bought and copies given to the Lib as gift from batch80/84 labelled on them..

good books are so expensive that  in radiology for Rs 70,000 I can only buy 3 books if not less..

The utilisation of this money is open to the house/google site for debate, discussion and suggestions..

Also please post the receipts..

Till we meet again all back to our respective work.

Three Cheers!! For LH batch 80/84 hip hip hurrah!!
Madhu
