25th reunion pictures

Hi all,

Great to have met so many of you at the reunion. Thanks to Gauri,
Anjali & all in the the team that worked tirelessly despite their busy
schedules to make it happen and in such style!

I had a blast & I'm sure you all did too.........

I have uploaded some pictures on the facebook , please add me as a
friend and access... they sure reflect the vibrant mood of the two get
togethers of the gang.

Those who couldn't make it , well ladies , you were sorely missed.
Abha gulati are you listening???

I have enjoyed every minute of the short weekend trip to be with all
of you. Keep the momentum going & let's not wait to meet at the 50th
only.......

My only regret, we forgot to say a word about the two (Pratibha &
Saloni) who are not amongst us. May God rest their souls in peace.

immediately after her marriage...i missed saloni at the get2gather ...

Had wanted to begin the event with a little remembrance for Pratibha and Saloni,and include some messages from those who weren't able to attend,however the idea was vetoed as a mood dampener by some,so....Guess this is a case of fools seldom differ (ie both of us-better to clarify)!!!Infact had cropped and enlarged their pictures from some group photo's too.

Dear girls,

It was a fantastic reunion, loved every bit of it.

Was fantastic to meet up with the girls(sorry Nishi my lingo is not ladies).. some have grown and matured to delightful young women sp Uma Misra and Jyoti Abrol, their personal growth took me by surprirse...the warmth I received in the many hugs I got from so many girls keeps me warm in the minus 7 temp here at Manchester with 1 foot snow!!

Its such a pity that the reunion was our show and we were sidelined by the Budhees..(sorry to sound like an ageist) who took all the time, and we were given very little time...so much so the VOTE OF thanks was deleted,I guess Anjali you should send the vote of thanks on the google site..LH as sunne waale bhi hum they aur dekhne waale bhi hum they.. I guess you may edit it and include ONE and ALL so that no one feels left out or ignored..

Once again its the sheeer hard work of one and all that made the event a BIG success. though the organising secretary Gauri put her heart and soul, the back stage workers..Seema wasnik(brains behind it ), Anjali nayar, Ritu anand, Uma Misra.(sp the finances). The dancing group who had rehearesed soooo hard and were so well coordinated...hats  off to Arti, RITu, anjum, Neeta, , Ripu... and those sonne sardar mundae??

My special thanks to the girls who joined me in the Belly dance and supported me in the true hardonian spirit,, USha gupta, Swapna  mallick/talukdaar, Uma Misra and Gauri.. not to miss Nishi and PRITI saini, joh mere se  bhi ek kadam aage thee..

Nishi thanks for the hip scarves..rest of u thanks for cheering and joining us on stage!!

 

Those of you who couldnt come did miss an event of a life time..i will put 400 photos on FB by christmas..

 

Are the organising secretaies there?? Gauri and treasurer RItu hearing me???

I beleive the funds collected far exceeded the expenses.. and there is NO REGISTERED  account of LH 80/84 BATCH.. girls like Swapna who were in a position to arrange finances for the batch were handicaped due to a lack of a registered account..Swapna actually wanted to arrange for an annual get 2gether..which is not really feasible as IT IS DIFFICULT to awaken the KUNDALINI of LADIES (nishi ur language)

also I paid in cash BY HAND  and it is the cheeky reply i get is TO collect THE receipt from Jor bagh...BABY DOLL .pls use some of the Spare cash you have accumulated and POST the receipt to my resedential address. in Manchester .the slip is on your part.. acknowldege it..and be accountable..(if u r taking cash by hand pls hand the recipt doosre haath se)

 

Anjali since the vote of thanks is going to be proposed by u, let me thank u first in anticipation.. for UR participation in every way..the compere ing was fabulous..u remembered little anectodes so well and also not 2 forget GBM and  SKP.. thats how we addressed them!!

It was lovely to meet the families.. I must also apologise That I couldnt spend time with all girls as much as i wanted to..

My thanks to Illa aggarwal shah, o .sucitra manjula who came from out of station, ek pukaar dene par..graced the occasion and made it a success.. and to Meena nagrare and Dr. rajeev, karuna and Dr shekhar..who came when given a shout by Seema..

 

There were many local girls who didnt come.. misssed  bonding with their baradaree..(ur loss../??our loss)

The belly dance for me was a personal landmark as well.. caus last year i had multiple level (two levels.L4/5 and L5/S1) disc prolapse..and Jim my orthopod despaired I cant give u results even with surgery at ur age... and Gian my phhysiotherapist worked hard with me and with Katy(belly dancer teacher) I think I have acheived autolysis of the prolapsed sequestered discs..!!

 

Special thanks to all girls Richa, Vineeta, Priti saini,  and Nishi who came from overseas.. and Regrets from those who could not, come..

Abha, Hi Vineeta here. How have you been? When are you moving to NJ. We should meet before you leave. BTW, your last e mail to the group( New Years ) had a virus on it and I had to get my IT guy to remove it - he is going to check the web site and maybe report it. Just letting you know you should remove that from your computer too.

Hope you had a great time in India. I am doing well...things moved really fast. I heard back regarding my new job just before Chrismas and thay gave me 3 weeks to relocate and join. So, I am just running crazy...I have a lot to do and very less time.

 

Thanks for letting me know about the virus. I think I just replied to the group email...the virus must have been in the group email. Recently I have been having problem with my computer...may be thats what happened.

 

If we are not able to meet before I move since I have very less time and I still have to do all the packing, we should stay in touch. We should meet in New york/NJ!
