Gloucestershire County Council sites for searching.

You currently list www.gloscc.gov.uk as the GCC site.  Our current main site is www.gloucestershire.gov.uk - the gloscc.gov.uk domain remains ours but is redundant except for redirecting to gloucestershire.gov.uk & internal uses.

I'm also interested in how LGSearch treats the other sites associated with our domain (e.g. www.libraries.gloucestershire.gov.uk).

p.s. it would be handy if you included the LGSearch URL somewhere on the FAQs

Sorry for the APPALLING amount of time it has taken for me to get back
to you. The change you requested has now been made, and the lists
updated. In line with your suggestion I have also added a link to the
LGSearch site itself on the introduction page to this group to help
people navigate around.

The site searches everything on a domain, whether it comes at the
start or the end, so libraries.gloucestershire.gov.uk gets indexed
just as gloucestershire.gov.uk/libraries might do.

Folk might be interested that I have added some new sites to the index
which are mainly blogs written by or for people in the public sector.
These are all under the label 'social media' so you can focus your
search there if necessary. I have written more about this on my blog
at http://davepress.net/2008/09/11/lgsearch-update/
