The mods are up for next session - and the next 2 sessions after that.
If you sign up for a module, please note whether or not a DM has
volunteered for it.
Recent administrative changes mean that Radio Free Hommlet will only
be able to provide 1 DM to each session, for the foreseeable future.

This means that the rest of us must really step up to DM slots, or we
may have tables that simply do not make.
If you are interested in DMing a slot, you can sign up on the web
site. We can get you the mod, and provide maps, pens, miniatures, or
any other supplies you might need.
All we need is you.

December 6:

December 20

Chris' note does not make the point as clearly as I feel it needs to be made, so let me be very clear:

IF a table does not have a judge signed up on Warhorn, THEN it will not happen.
We are posting tables so that there is opportunity to judge, but this is not a guarantee a table will make.

This group has gotten lax, we have many regular players, but we have no regular DMs outside of a small handful of people who would like to play on a regular basis.  If this group cannot support itself by generating those willing to run slots, then we will simply shut it down.  We encourage, and support, anyone wanting to run even if it is for your first time.  Send us an email when you sign up and we'll get you the PDF of your module straight away.

We want this group to succeed, but things have to change.

Ok. Just got my Herald level DM certification. Would like to play my
defender one more time to get her (my first rpga character) to level 2
( woohoo!!) but if needed, and willing to deal with someone running
this system for the first time, I will DM for anything needed,
although will need supplies.

I guess the question I have then is, A) Am I going to get lynched if I stumble through my first time DMing a 4th Ed game, B) How soon after I take the exam, does it get processed so I can legally DM?

If need be I will muddle through the exam tonight.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

A) We've stopped lynching because Lone Star doesn't like us to erect gallows without permits.  We tar and feather now. :)

Or, for a serious answer, you will not get lynched.  Most likely, if you do passably well at all, you'll be complimented.  And it's really not hard to run if you have a basic knowledge of the rules.  The module has all the skill difficulties listed, and stat blocks for all the monsters that include everything you need to know.  It's really not hard.  I hate to DM, and I don't mind running D&D from time to time.

B) Immediately, I believe.
