Many internet, cable, and pay TV providers include the Netflix app on their devices. To get started, search the name of your provider in our Help Center to check if Netflix is available on your device. To learn more about device support, contact us or the company that provided your device.

So some unwanted people have been using my Netflix and I would like for them to get logged out after changing my password. I've tried the Sign out Of All devices again and again from different devices and at different times. I've done it repeatedly for a week and it doesn't seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

A Netflix Household is a collection of devices connected to the internet at the main place you watch Netflix. A Netflix Household can be set using most TV devices. Devices that use your Netflix account on the same internet connection as this TV will automatically be part of your Netflix Household.

I have the Basic Netflix account through my Volt package. Initially this was working as expected, I could watch Netflix in 2 devices simultaneously, until recently it stopped working. I can watch Netflix on 2 of my Virgin boxes but when I try to watch on an iPad, 3rd Netflix box, phone etc, I get a message that my payment details need to be updated.

Hi Dave I have three Virgin boxes l, NF works on 2 of them and no other devices, last week I received a notification last week from NF that my account is now suspended due to non payment, gone from bad to worse.

I'm running PiHole on a QNAP server that is running Ubuntu 20.04.1 in an LXC. The PiHole is running as expected (as far as I can tell). My network consists of Ubiquity's UDM as my router and have the network setup with multiple VLANs (personal devices, generic IoT, and streaming IoT). I have my TCL Roku TV and Roku Premiere device on the streaming and generic IoT respectively with IP's of x.x.20.5 and x.x.21.22 respectively.

For some reason netflix.com was blacklisted initially (I'm using the pihole-updatelists gibhub repository for my adlists), and I noticed that there were hundreds of calls for netflix.com. It didn't appear to prevent me from accessing the service, but I found it strange that it was happening so frequently (like every 5 mins). Any idea why this is happening and if this is something I should be concerned about?

I changed this, and yes, I wasn't planning on using the DHCP server on the PiHole. Sorry, I'm still learning about all of this. So I apologize if this was a stupid comment, but I was just looking to see if there was anything in the log that I sent you that would specify such a short lease time because everything on my Unifi network is set to 86400 seconds for the DHCP lease time, and most of my devices are using static ip's anyway.

I have been working with UTM / Astaro since like version 7.3. I tried to switch to XG last fall when my computer running UTM died and thought to start over with XG. Which requires much learning to navigate and it still is missing some features we have all come to love in UTM. I have been away from UTM for amlost a year and did keep my notes and many configuration examples but can't seem to find my notes for video straming to bluray players and other devices that can connect to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime and so forth. I am now building my new Sophos UTM 9.5 system on a computer with the home license.

From my Linux computer via the web browsers I can stream my Amazon Prime movies and shows, and the HBO, and my Netflix just fine. My bluray player devices with the streaming services built in will not stream the movies and shows. It connects just fine to the services (Netflix) and I can view and select my selections, just when I go to play the movie or show it fails.

XDA Developers was founded by developers, for developers. It is now a valuable resource for people who want to make the most of their mobile devices, from customizing the look and feel to adding new functionality.

News of this round of support dropping has been filtering onto forums over the past few weeks, with Netflix users being given ample warning that come October 16th, their devices will no longer be able to stream Netflix.

We spoke to Cord Cutters News founder Luke Bouma, who has been covering the world of cord-cutting for many years, asking him about the fact that Netflix is choosing to discontinue more devices and what the best quick and cheap fix options are when it comes to getting back to watching Netflix. Bouma told us:

Netflix has a dedicated satellite website that promotes its supported list of devices, whether streaming media players, smart TVs, or game consoles. A list dedicated to devices in your region can be found here.

To sign out of your Netflix account on all devices remotely, go to Netflix.com or open the mobile app. Then, click your profile icon in the top-right corner. Next, click Account. Then, click Sign Out of All Devices. Finally, click Sign Out.

When you have the Netflix & Max (With Ads) perk you can manage your Max account by visiting the Max Help Center, Account & Sign in.

There, you can change your email, password or name, manage your Max devices, help keep your account secure and more.

In the race for video streaming domination, Netflix surges forward. On Wednesday, Netflix announced and implemented in its latest update, the ability to download TV and movie titles on mobile devices.

At no extra cost to the user, Netflix subscribers will now be able to save select content to their iOS or Android devices, then watch on the go without the need for an Internet connection. Say goodbye to lackluster in-flight movies, Netflix is now airplane-mode compatible.

Netflix is not the first streaming service to offer offline viewing. Last year, Amazon Prime Video extended its download service to iPhones, iPads, and Android devices after offering it exclusively for the Amazon Fire Tablet.

Cable providers are trying to evolve as well. Also Wednesday, AT&T launched DirecTV Now, an Internet streaming service available on phones, tablets, computers, and streaming devices. In February 2015, Dish introduced Sling TV, which streams cable channels through the Internet.

As of now, the FAQ page does not mention anything about a 31-day window in which users must log their devices into the primary home network, so the company may have walked back that measure in the short time since announcing it.

"I got a message last night from my mother that when she went to play Netflix, which she watches through an app on the Bluray player, she got the following message: Netflix will no longer be available on this device after October 16. Visit Netflix.com/compatibledevices for a list of compatible devices," wrote one user.

Netflix works with partners like Roku, Samsung, and LG to support hundreds of different device types such as streaming sticks and smart TVs. When new devices are introduced, Netflix makes sure that these devices are up to their standards before onboarding them to their application. Additionally, Netflix tests current devices every day through automation to ensure that new software releases continue to deliver the streaming quality and user experience customers expect.

This setup has allowed them to 1) achieve fault tolerance, which is key for reliable data and 2) scale to support an increasing amount of devices. They expect the Device Management Platform will continue to scale and accommodate more workloads over time as they continue to onboard more devices.

When you receive the notification that you can no longer download Netflix titles, it means that you have reached the maximum limit. According to Netflix, the number of devices allowed to download videos simultaneously is equal to the number of screens you can watch Netflix on, which depends on your subscription plan. For example, if you have a standard plan with 2 screens, you can download videos on 2 devices.

If you want to download videos on a third device, you will need to delete all the downloaded videos from one of your existing devices. This limitation can be frustrating when you want to download videos for offline viewing on multiple devices. So, how can you solve this issue? Read on to find out how to download and save Netflix videos on all your devices.

Netflix Video Downloader supports getting video in HD quality, and you can click the Setting button on the upper right corner to set the output quality as High, or choose Medium or Low according to the storage space of your devices. Plus, the setting of customizing the Output path is also in this window.

By implementing this third solution, you will no longer encounter this error message when you want to download and save Netflix videos on multiple devices. It is the ideal choice for you to retain your current Netflix plan and continue enjoying your Netflix downloads. Feel free to give it a try!

"We use information such as IP addresses, device IDs, and account activity to determine whether a device signed into your account is part of your Netflix Household. We do not collect GPS data to try to determine the precise physical location of your devices," says the company on the FAQ website.

Here's the very important fact Netflix Household users must remember, he/she can stream content on personal devices or even TV at the hotel for up to seven days outside the primary house. Also, the user has to connect to the primary household's Wi-Fi at least once every 31 days.

Streaming services are associated with energy use and carbon emissions from devices, network infrastructure and data centres. Yet, contrary to a slew of recent misleading media coverage, the climate impacts of streaming video remain relatively modest, particularly compared to other activities and sectors.

The relatively low climate impact of streaming video today is thanks to rapid improvements in the energy efficiency of data centres, networks and devices. But slowing efficiency gains, rebound effects and new demands from emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain, raise increasing concerns about the overall environmental impacts of the sector over the coming decades.
