Our dermatologist-tested and approved skin care regimen joins forces with the pinnacle of razor technology to deliver a hot towel shave experience, comfortable and soothing for even for the most sensitive skin.

I appreciate your page and products for shaving, but I would prefer a product that uses a brush to build the lather. I use an old fashion straight razor, and this is about ritual (and a close shave, of course).

I often use the Shaving Gel, and I do love how soft my skin feels and how close the shave works. I do have one question though. Is it recommended to create the lather in your hand and then apply to wet face? Or do I wet my face and then apply it directly and lather it on my face (this is what I have been doing)? The thing that concerns me is when I do lather it on my face, the formula starts off creamy but then quickly fades away and soaks into my skin (or something like that). How do I keep a creamy lather on my face like conventional shaving gel. Or is that just not what this does?

After YEARS of searching for the perfect shave I have tried countless products, both foreign and domestic, synthetic and all natural, cheap and (often times VERY) expensive combinations of oils, creams, soaps, razors, blades, brushes, rags, etc., etc.

This one is pretty boring and hardly even merits any discussion about it as a hairstyle as its barely a hairstyle. But since I cover the side shave and wear it down fairly often, I thought it dishonest not to include it. The side you are looking at in the first picture is the side with the shave.

During my last trip to my friendly barber I took some notes on what sort of stuff a man could stock in his medicine cabinet in order to enjoy that barbershop smell every day of the year. Here is my report.

If you shaved before you read this, and are already dealing with razor burn, try to take a break from shaving to let your skin heal, and help it along with some of our tea tree lotion. This is also suitable as an aftershave lotion if you find you need it from time to time. When you are healed up, follow these basic steps to wet shave without razor burn.

1. Wet Start: You want to get the hairs good and moist. You can do that with a shower, or by holding a warm, moist washcloth or towel over the area to be shaved for a few minutes. This will make the hairs wet through and through and not as strong. This will lead to less irritation.

Did you notice that three of the five steps were about water? See, wet shaving without razor burn really is pretty basic. By following these steps you should be able to avoid razor burn and get a clean, classic, old-school shave.
